Learning to Move, Moving to Learn

Play becomes purposeful when a child’s potential for learning is enhanced. Research shows that learning through play teaches children how to preserve, control attention, and control emotions which are key elements to learning readiness. Understanding of the appropriate milestones and expectations is vital for young students and classroom success. Learning to Move, Moving to Learn is designed to provide a research-based overview of the neuroscience to learning, followed by active participation of activities that focus on infantile reflexes, balance, coordination, rhythm and various visual skills.
